Thank you for considering our creative space for your upcoming project! Before booking with us, we want to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Please take a moment to review our studio policies and guidelines below. These rules help us maintain a clean, respectful, and productive environment for all clients and guests.
By booking with Unique Empire Studio, you acknowledge that you've read, understood, and agreed to abide by these policies. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out – we're always here to help.
Studio Policies and Guidelines
I. Overtime Policy
To ensure a smooth transition between bookings and maintain our studio's schedule, please note the following overtime policy:
- What constitutes overtime: Any time exceeded beyond your originally scheduled booking end time, including just 1 minute over.
- Overtime charging: Overtime will be billed in 30-minute increments.
- Rate: Overtime rate is equal to our standard hourly rate
- Notification: If you anticipate needing more time, please notify our studio team ASAP so we can check availability and accommodate your request if possible.
- Consequence of no notification: Failure to notify us may result in incomplete sessions or additional fees due to interference with subsequent bookings.
- Checkout time remains firm: Regardless of overtime approval, please ensure all belongings are removed and the studio is vacated by the newly agreed-upon end time to avoid further fees.
II. Studio Care and Cleanup
-To maintain our studio's cleanliness and ensure a pleasant environment for all clients, please observe the following care and cleanup guidelines:
- Remove your belongings: Take all equipment, props, and personal items with you when departing.
- Restore studio layout: Return furniture and fixtures to their original positions as found upon arrival.
- Dispose of waste properly: Throw away trash, packaging materials, and disposable items in designated receptacles.
- Protect studio surfaces:
- No, sticky tack, nails, screws, staples, or penetrating items on walls and floors.
- Prevent damage to tables, counters, and other surfaces.
- Backdrop care: Please let our team know when you want to swap/change a color backdrops.
- Cleaning up messes: Immediately clean spills, splatters, or other accidents to prevent damage and extra fees.
- Final inspection: Before checking out, ensure the studio is tidy and restored to its initial state.
III. Furniture and Backdrop Usage
-To ensure flexibility and protection of our studio assets, please follow these guidelines for furniture and backdrop usage:
- Furniture Movement:
- Feel free to rearrange furniture within the studio to suit your needs.
- However, please do not remove furniture from the studio premises.
- Restore original layout: Return furniture to its initial position before checking out. - Backdrop Usage:
- Do not attempt to change backdrops yourself – notify our studio team for assistance.
- No backdrop changes/cuts will extend your scheduled session time; plan accordingly.
- Cleaning Fee Waiver: Clean up confetti, glitter, or other debris promptly to avoid additional fees ($150 cleanup fee applies if not cleaned during session).
IV. Miscellaneous Rules
-To maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all clients and visitors, please observe these additional guidelines:
- No Smoking Policy: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the studio and within 10 feet of the building entrance.
- Confetti and Glitter: - Allowed with caution; please clean up thoroughly during your session to avoid $150 cleanup fee.
Food and Drink Precautions:
- No open foods or liquids on paper backdrops (e.g., chocolate, syrup, cake, etc.) unless approved by studio management.
- Keep food and drinks away from equipment and backdrops to prevent damage.
- Backdrop Changes by Studio Staff Only: Notify our team for backdrop changes – do not attempt to change them yourself.
- Respect Shared Spaces: Refrain from entering or interfering with adjacent studios or lounge areas.
V. Damages and Fees
- We maintain our studio with care, and we appreciate your help in preserving its condition. Any damages or neglect of our policies may result in additional fees.
Damages include:
- Studio equipment malfunction due to misuse
- Wall, floor, or furniture damage
- Excessive cleanup required due to neglect of our policies
Fee assessment:
- Damages will be billed at fair market repair/replacement cost + 10% handling fee
- Cleanup fees: $150 for excessive messes not cleaned during session
- Equipment misuse fees: variable depending on repair/replacement cost. This rarely happens but we have had guest not being cautious and knocking over mirrors and strobes where the impact breaks the equipment.
Payment terms:
- Damages fees will be charged to the credit card on file with Peerspace
- Payment expected within 24 hours of invoice date
VI. Equipment Provision and Client Responsibility
Unique Empire Studio provides various equipment to support your photo shoots, including backdrops, lighting, and more. Please note the following regarding equipment usage and responsibility:
- Equipment Provision: We ensure availability and proper functioning of our equipment during your scheduled session.
Client Responsibility:
- Setting up and operating equipment according to your camera/settings needs.
- Understanding equipment functionality – our staff will provide guidance on usage.
Excluded Responsibility:
- We are not responsible for creating your photo shoot sets or arrangements.
-Due to varying camera settings and requirements, we cannot guarantee optimal lighting configurations – clients should shoot tests and adjust lighting equipment accordingly.
